Hillcrest Real Estate Development, in collaboration with Century Development, completed a continuing care retirement community in Gretna, Nebraska, in 2024. Situated on a 20-acre site in the rapidly expanding city of Gretna, the development features a variety of living options: 84 independent living apartments, 26 assisted living apartments and 15 memory care apartments.
In addition to the main building, the community also includes 28 age 55+ garden homes, organized into seven four-plexes. The first eight garden homes were completed in 2024, with the remaining homes under phased development. Future plans for the campus include post-acute and long-term care accommodations.
In 2023, Hillcrest Real Estate Development opened Freedom Village of Bellevue, a pocket neighborhood for those 55+. The community features 28 garden homes – designed within seven attractive quadplex residences surrounding the central courtyard – as well as 28 private apartments in a modern, secure building featuring convenient elevator access.
The development’s clubhouse features a fitness gym and community room, while outdoor amenities include a fire pit, conversation patio, garden area and private dog park — all designed to foster connection and convenience within an intimate neighborhood setting.
Bedrooms are modern and spacious.
The clubhouse kitchen space is perfect for hosting parties.
The fitness gym features a variety of equipment for residents to enjoy.
The campus includes walking paths and covered outdoor spaces.
The main building is constructed with covered entrances.
Hillcrest Real Estate Development maintains a long-term commitment to the quality and modernization of its portfolio.
