Leadership Team
Jolene Roberts is the President of Hillcrest Real Estate Development. In 1988, she founded Hillcrest Health & Living (formerly Hillcrest Health Services), which is an integrated housing and health system serving aging adults in Nebraska and Iowa. Jolene spent her entire career dedicated to the development and operations of care and housing solutions serving older adults. Her educational background includes master’s degrees in social work and gerontology.
As the Vice President of Real Estate Development, Todd Aerni is responsible for creating and maintaining Hillcrest commercial properties. He has 20+ years of experience in construction and renovation projects, including site coordination, permitting, regulatory processes, plan review, inspections, drafting and budget management. Todd joined Hillcrest Health & Living in 2014 as the Facilities Management Director. Prior to Hillcrest, Todd was the Chief Building Official for the City of Papillion.
Kevin Mulhearn joined Hillcrest as Chief Financial Officer in late 2013 with 22 years of operational and financial experience in the senior living industry. He holds an MBA in Healthcare Administration and Finance from Lewis University and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from North Central College. Kevin has been a certified Resident Housing Professional and served as the chairperson of the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)/Continuing Care Accreditation Commission (CCAC) for six years. Kevin also serves as Board Treasurer for the Hillcrest Foundation.
